It is well known fact that European Commission has high standards when it comes to decision making for European Union Membership.Mr. Patrick Lobis, the deputy head of representation for German European Commission that the voting process for developing countries in the Balkans who are interested undergoes through a long process of application. EU as a whole is slower to make decisions not because of bureacracy, rather for having a high standards prioritizing the best for it's 27 member states. The mechanism of this political will process is developing, cannot necessarily force, qualifies majority voting, with accession of member states. The good thing is, the member states are consistently meeting and depending on each other as each one's voices is valued.

The partners in European komission are all on board as the geopolitical significance within EU reforms and efforts for the application of the candidate countries undergoes through a long and complex process. EU wants to maintain their image as the treaty guardian of the union; not for their own sake, setting high standards as the coach and partner of the member states building a stronger and better Europe.

EU commission reviews the political economic weight of the countries and makes sure that every voices are heard in the committee. In order to find the balance and move forward; the EU commission integrates the candidate countries as much as possible extending to Schengen areas. A big discussion is conducted, for example, should they have the veto rights for foreign policy decisions, and the qualification of majority voting rights. Another argument is that when a developing country applies for EU membership, sometimes an unanimous decision is made due to the pressure of situation. This is not necessarily because the EU wants to win others approval, but the fact that the member states needs to consistently have a meeting and voting democracy.

He then highlights the Role of EU commission: geopolitical, sovereignity, stability. Joining the European Union despite of being a long process, the European Commission has the best interest for the candidate country and for the future of EU.
